Announcement    Sprog...what now? From the words "sprog" meaning "child" and "toggery" meaning "clothing." Thus, Sprogtoggery: "child clothing."

Sprogtoggery specializes in one-of-a-kind hand-knits that are as individual as every child. Each handmade item is designed to appeal not only to folks who appreciate fine, handcrafted clothing, but to those parents out there who are tired of the "same old" baby clothes and demand something as unique as they are.

Our home base is a small town in central New Hampshire, and we have been selling knitwear and accessories online since 2006. And when I say "we," I mean mostly "me", Jennifer Lacey. I am the designer of every garment and the artist-in-residence at Sprogtoggery. I design and create every item with my own two hands. I'm currently also the photography department, the marketing department, the shipping department, and I also try to stay on top of the laundry and the dishes from my home workshop here in the back corner of my kitchen.

Sprogtoggery originals are knit entirely by hand from fine, natural fibers like wool and cotton, and are designed to wear well and remain lovely for generations of use. The soles of the booties and all decorative accents are always made from 100% wool felt and every one of the embroidered details is done by hand. While designs may occasionally be repeated, no two garments are ever exactly alike.

We are especially pleased to have found a super-talented artist out of Los Angeles who supplies us with just the most perfect ceramic buttons imaginable. Sarah's buttons add just the right finishing touch that we had in mind when designing a line of truly special and totally artisan handmade clothing. Do visit FULTONandCO and see her fine craftsmanship for yourself.
